Michael Oriard is an American historian and author who has lots of experience in writing about sports. He played football at the University of Notre Dame and professionally with the Kansas City Chiefs. The book we looked at was Reading Football, but he has other works that are important to our topic, such as King Football and The Art of Football.
Art Chansky is an American author with a background in sports journalism. He has years of experience covering sports in North Carolina, specifically the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He has books that cover the rivalries between the schools in basketball, such as Game Changers and Blue Blood: Duke-Carolina, Inside the Most Storied Rivalry in College Hoops.
