Meet our Guests
Col. Michael Caldwell is the assistant vice-president for Military and Veteran Engagement for the National Medal of Honor Museum, and has been with the project since December 2019. He served in the Air Force for 24 years and retired in 2009 from the Pentagon as the Deputy Directorof Public Affairs for the Air Force.
Kali Schick is a senior historian at the National Medal of Honor Museum and joined the project in April 2024. She worked for the National World War II Museum in New Orleans as a research historian for 10 years, and her current role in the Medal of Honor museum involves developing the exhibit space and fleshing out the stories of Medal of Honor recipients and the Medal of Honor itself.
Dr. William A. Taylor is the Lee Drain Endowed University Professor of global security studies and department chair at Angelo State University in San Angelo, Texas. Taylor is the series editor for two book series, author or editor of seven books, and has won multiple national awards, honors, and prizes. In 2022, he won the Texas Tech University System Chancellor’s Council Distinguished Teaching Award, and in 2016, won the Chancellor’s Council Distinguished Research Award.
